Spires Drones
The base troop for the army, the drone is little more than a mindless thing made to kill and be killed. Once used it is thrown back in the vats to be re-grown again.
I kept with a bone color scheme and blue washes. For the bone I primed the spur white and then hit it with a deep yellow wash. Next came a brown wash and then a white dry brush. The rest of the figure is composed of a blue wash, a bit of color here and there and a final dry brush of white to pick off the edges and details. All in all they came out nice.
Sixty of them was a drag to paint, but they are done.
